Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz will join Williams in 2025, the team confirmed Monday, ending months of speculation about the Spanish driver’s future. Sainz has signed on a multi-year Williams deal, meaning he will drive alongside Alex Albon in 2025. Williams Racing today announces that Carlos Sainz will complete the team’s driver line-up for the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season and beyond. With a decade of F1 competition under his belt, Sainz will join Williams from Scuderia Ferrari on a two-year agreement with options to extend.Williams have announced that they will unveil their 2025 Formula 1 car on February 14, with the FW47 being revealed in a bespoke one-off livery before the race livery for the campaign is unveiled during F1’s season launch event at London’s The O2.
