According to a report by the Handelsblatt, citing company sources on Wednesday, CEO Ola Källenius now plans to manufacture premium vehicles across all price segments instead of concentrating solely on high-margin, top-tier models. Mercedes had planned to discontinue the A-Class as part of CEO Ola Kallenius’ “Economics of Desire” strategy unveiled in 2022 in Monaco.
