L 4-cylinder turbo diesel, 245 hp & 500 Nm. Smaller engine, but paired with newer tech, lighter feel, and improved efficiency. Mercedes GLE MPG & CO2 Besides the PHEV, the most economical model in the range is the 2. GLE 300 d. Mercedes claims it’ll return up to 44. CO2 when 20-inch alloy wheels are fitted, putting it in the highest BiK band.
