What is covered under a service plan?
Generally, a service plan covers all recommended services for your car, including the costs of labour and standard parts, either annually or after a certain number of kilometres. It may include specific cover for both minor and major services. As a general rule, your car should have a minor service every 10,000-15,000 kilometres driven or every 12 months – whichever comes first. Major car services should occur every 30,000-45,000 kilometres driven.Mercedes-Benz Service is recommended after 1 year or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Mercedes-Benz Service B comes after, and is recommended after 2 years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Throughout the life of your car, you’ll alternate between these service intervals to protect its parts and systems. If you change your mind about purchasing your Service Plan, you are able to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the contract activation date and the contract becomes effective.
