What does K mean in Mercedes?
The designation K on Mercedes usually means Kurz, or short, but can mean Kompressor. More than 40 years later, many people still do not know what that K actually stands for, and we’d wager that one and all will be a touch disappointed to learn it doesn’t really stand for anything. Instead, K is just the letter designation assigned by Chrysler to the platform on which the vehicles were built.
What is a code S?
S codes and CPT codes are both used in medical billing, but they differ in several ways. CPT codes are used to report physician services and procedures, while S codes are used to report non-physician services and procedures. S codes are primarily used to report services and procedures that are not covered by the traditional set of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. They are often used for emerging technologies, new services, and items for which there is no specific CPT code available.

K codes. Items that reduce your tax-free allowances can add up to more than those allowances, resulting in ‘minus allowances’. When this happens, HMRC treat these minus allowances as extra income on which income tax is due, and they use a special code number beginning with the letter K. K codes are a type of tax code that will result in more tax being collected out of your wages, via the PAYE system.
