In every metric, this is a better choice – throttle response, mechanical refinement, cruising ease.Most of the options competing against the 2024 C300 are more expensive and less luxurious when compared. The C300 is classy, well-balanced, and engaging. It’s not as quick or as curve-loving as some of the other options in the market, but it’s definitely easy to have as a daily driver.The C300 is faster and it comes with an extra gear while the IS 250 is slower with a lower torque. The C300 comes at formatic which gives it an all wheel drive system. While the IS 250 could either come as rear wheel drive or all wheel drive.Derivatives of the same M254 petrol four-cylinder engine, both the C200 and C300 motivate the C-Class well enough – though the $12K-dearer C300 offers notably more urge and will be the pick for those doing plenty of country driving. But we liked the 150kW/300Nm C200 too.
