Is Mandalay Bay worth it?
I think these rooms are worth the money if you really want to be right in the action. Personally, I would book a room in Delano and have all of the fun of Mandalay within a few steps of my sanctuary-like hotel. But if you’re a family whose priority is the beach or the shark aquarium, Mandalay is your best bet. Mandalay is absolutely worth visiting! In addition to being generally more pleasant than larger Yangon, it sits within close proximity to some beautiful destinations you can visit on a day trip, including the riverside village of Inwa and Amarapura, which is where you find the iconic U-Bein Bridge.
