You will receive a production number after the order is accepted by the factory and scheduled for production. Your BMW Center will update you once a production number is assigned, and you can then track the status of your new BMW order using the My BMW App or at MyBMW. Find your vehicle’s VIN number, and enter it into the BMW software portal to check for required updates. Download the updates, and save them to a USB drive that you can take with you to your vehicle. Plug the USB drive into any of your BMW vehicle’s USB ports, and transfer the updates.When a new version becomes available, you’re notified on the My BMW App and Central Information Display in your BMW. Simply download the update on your mobile device, or directly to your vehicle. Then, when your vehicle is parked run the installation at a convenient time.
What is code 2782 on BMW?
After replacing valve cover gaskets, a misfire with code 2782 indicates camshaft sensor issues. Check the camshaft position sensor connector for damage or poor contact caused during gasket replacement. Inspect wiring harness for pinched or broken wires. Fault codes 2744, 2743, and 274e indicate misfires likely caused by ignition or fuel delivery problems. Despite replacing CCV, pipes, plugs, coil packs, and injectors, rough idle persists.
