Does Xentry require a subscription?
xentry diagnosis lite is initially provided for 12 months with the purchase of the xentry diagnosis com kit. The contract ends automatically after this time. Renewals can be purchased one year at a time with the payment of additional annual flat user fees. Click in the xentry diagnosis menu at the top left and select xentry login. After you have logged in, access is activated automatically – this process can take up to 4 hours.
What can Xentry do?
It allows the user to access and read diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and perform various diagnostic tests. To use the diagnostics feature, the user must connect a diagnostic scanner to the vehicle’s OBD-II port and then select the vehicle from the vehicle selection tab. While you may hire a mechanic to run the diagnostic test on your vehicle, you can conduct the test yourself. The OBD (onboard diagnostic) computer comprises multiple sensors to diagnose issues, which it labels in a 5-character code known as the OBD or OBD-II code.OBD Fusion® is an app for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android that allows you to read diagnostic data from your vehicle. You can create virtual dashboards showing multiple vehicle sensors, estimate fuel economy, read diagnostic trouble codes, and turn off your check engine light.
