Does paint come under warranty?
Paint warranties cover the painting and coating products used in your project. The guarantee is provided by the manufacturer, such as Dulux or Taubmans, and doesn’t cover the application of the product itself. Most standard warranties only cover defects in the paint itself, such as fading, chalking, or peeling. Everything else comes down to proper surface preparation and application.If you’re buying a moderately-priced car, then paintwork protection is a large expense relative to the cost of the car. It may not necessarily be covered by your insurer though, so check with them. If you’re not fussed about your car looking showroom fresh, then it’s probably not worth having.
