A Porsche Technician is a specialized automotive mechanic trained to diagnose, repair, and maintain Porsche vehicles. They use advanced tools and software to service high-performance engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other components. The Porsche Technology Apprentice Program (PTAP). PTAP is Porsche Cars North America’s own apprenticeship program, with the stated purpose of training and developing men and women to become Porsche dealer technicians.
