Can kids sleep in a wagon?
Most stroller wagons have an adaptable base that accommodates car seats for easy infant snoozing. Unfortunately, most stroller wagons do not have any type of built-in restraint for children to sleep in unless they’re older. In fact, for older kids, stroller wagons are a great place to stretch out and catch a nap. As you’d expect, this rule suggests that babies shouldn’t sit in a car seat for more than 2 hours at a time. This applies whether your baby is in a car or out of it – even if the seat is being used as part of a pushchair travel system (pictured above).Second, car seats—even those that you can remove from a vehicle to lock into a stroller—are meant to be used only while you’re with your baby and observing him or her, not for extended or overnight sleep.
What is the best age for a wagon?
With their open design, your kiddos can sit where they’d like, move around, and they’re great for accommodating backpacks, blankets, and anything else you need to carry. Wagons can are generally used for children between the ages of 1 and 5 (but some models have options to accommodate younger babies). The footwell is the space allotted for your children’s legs. In other words, they can sit in the wagon in a natural position, and comfortably ride for longer stretches of time.
