Is Mercedes Me Connect free?
Mercedes Me connect allows our drivers to utilize many of their free Mercedes Me® Connect features, including Remote Start, Lock/Unlock, Send2Benz, and Vehicle Monitoring – all from the Mercedes me app. Allows Remote Vehicle Access: Viambrace®, the Mercedes Me® appallows you to remotely control various car functions, such as starting the vehicle, locking and unlocking the doors, and turning on the lights. Provides Leasing or Financing Information: Stay on top of lease or finance payments with the app.
How do I activate Mercedes me connect?
If you’ve already left the dealership, your connected vehicle services can be activated and deactivated right from the Mercedes-Benz app. Simply download the app, add your vehicle using the on-screen instructions, and then you are able to activate your services. Plug the USB cord into the USB port with the smartphone integration® symbol. Plug in the USB cord into your Android mobile device. On your vehicle’s infotainment screen, the following message will appear: “To start Android Auto for the first time, please park the vehicle and follow the instructions on your smartphone.The first time you connect your Android device, select Start Automatically from the menu on your infotainment screen. Your Android phone is now connected to your Mercedes-Benz Android Auto system. Your primary Android device will now automatically connect going forward.Android Auto lets you use your voice to do more in your car. No need to download anything—simply connect your phone and go.

The first time you connect your Android device, select Start Automatically from the menu on your infotainment screen. Your Android phone is now connected to your Mercedes-Benz Android Auto system. Your primary Android device will now automatically connect going forward. Connect your phone Plug a USB cable into your vehicle’s USB port; and then plug the other end of the cable into your phone. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Android Auto. Your phone might ask you to update Android Auto before you continue.
