Does Erwin come back to life?
After he wakes up fully healed, Armin learns that Erwin died so that he could live. Levi explains that it was ultimately him that chose to save Armin. When all is said and done, Erwin’s body is laid to rest in an abandoned house with his cloak draped over his body and flowers set next to the bed where he lays. Love Confession — Armin confesses to Annie that he wanted to see her. Love Is a Weakness — Eren suspects that Armin’s increasing fondness of Annie has clouded his judgement and made him unfit to protect their nation from the enemy.Instead of killing him outright, the Female Titan — Annie — decides to lift his hood and confirm whether or not he was Eren, as that was her objective. Even after the encounter, the Female Titan decides to not kill Armin.Levi arrives from the sky and the Beast declares the fight a draw after all the damage they incurred. They resign Bertholdt to his fate, and he tells Eren that he’ll come back and rescue him. Levi drops and asks for Eren’s gas to chase down the Beast. Eren obeys as Armin’s body quivers behind him.
Why did Levi choose Armin over Erwin?
It wasn’t really choosing Armin over Erwin in Levi ‘s eyes – to him, it was deciding that this is would be where Erwin died. Erwin had been dragged on in life as a slave to his dream to find out the truth of the world, and Levi knew that as soon as he knew that truth, he would be empty and have no purpose anymore. Hange’s death was the most glorious, the death every true fighter desires. I loved her like no other, but I cried for Levi’s heart that she broke.Unlike others who were still around, Hange had been by Levi’s side through countless hardships. Their bond wasn’t defined by romantic feelings, but by a deep sense of trust, understanding, and companionship,, something rare and precious in the world they lived in.While Levi and the others are safe on the flying boat, Hange falls after taking down several colossal titans and dies. In Levi’s eyes there is a great sadness following Hange’s sacrifice.Everything Levi did was to make sure that all the lives of his fallen comrades meant something and that they didn’t go to waste, and after decades of suffering and pushing forward into a seemingly endless abyss with no hope at the end, he was finally able to put them to rest, saluting them for the last time with a tear .It’s no where near romantic and isn’t typical either, Levi loves Hange as a sister. Levi didn’t want Hange to die but he knew that if she didn’t, the other people he saw as family would perish. Hange was probably the only person Levi cared for as much as he cared for Erwin.
Did Levi cry when Erwin died?
