Can you sleep anywhere in a campervan in Canada?
In Canada, campgrounds are the only places where you can legally park your RV for the night. Spending the night at rest stops and shopping malls is strictly prohibited. That is why it is important to carefully plan your Canadian RV holiday. Canada is full of Crown land – otherwise known as federally public land – which is often completely free to park and camp in. You can also stop overnight at truck stops, rest areas, casinos, Walmarts, and other commercial parking lots (although you may have to ask permission for these).
