How to activate Mercedes-Benz digital extras?
Ordering and activating Digital Extras Place the Digital Extra that you would like to purchase for your vehicle in your shopping basket in the Mercedes-Benz Store. Complete the order. The Digital Extra will be activated while you are using the vehicle. Create a personal Mercedes me ID, agree to the Terms of Use and link your vehicle to your user account. Activate, renew or purchase additional Digital Extras in the Mercedes-Benz Store if they are offered for your vehicle. After activation, these are automatically made available in your Mercedes-Benz.You will need to 1) Download the Mercedes me connect app onto your mobile device and 2) Set up your Mercedes me connect account. Open the Mercedes me connect app on your mobile device. Locate the Activate Mercedes me Charge tile and tap “Activate.The Mercedes me app lets you pair your vehicle and activate services like Remote Engine Start, Remote Door Lock & Unlock, Vehicle Locator and more, all on-the-go. Simply scan the QR code in the vehicle’s multimedia system, or enter your Vehicle Identification Number in the app to pair your vehicle.Open your iPhone® settings and navigate to Bluetooth®®*, make sure your phone is in discoverable mode.

Do Mercedes digital extras cost money?
Through the remote Digital Extras you can stay connected to your Mercedes-Benz at all times. Most Digital Extras are free of charge for the first few years after activation, but if you’d like to continue using them, you can renew them or even purchase a package to benefit from a range of Digital Extras. In the Mercedes-Benz Store, place the Digital Extras available for your vehicle in the shopping cart and complete the order. The vehicle must be turned off for activation. Turn the vehicle on again after approximately 2 minutes.

Mercedes Me is free for everyone, regardless of your vehicle or Mercedes Me® account status. However, customers with Mercedes Me® Connect or Mercedes Me® Concierge will have access to additional features. How Much Does Mercedes Me® Cost? The Mercedes Me® app is free to all Mercedes-Benz customers! However, if you choose to upgrade your app package, you’ll pay a subscription fee.
